Beginning November 21, 2010, Our Service Times Will Change!

Sunday Adult Worship (Sanctuary): 7:30 am, 9:00 am, 11:15 am

The worship service at Peace begins with an Opening Prayer of thanksgiving that sets the tone for Praise and Worship. The choir typically sings the latest gospel praise songs. However, they will also occasionally go "old school" with some foot stomping hymns.

The ministerial staff will then Recognize the Visitors and briefly share the Announcements for the week. First time visitors will receive a visitors' DVD that has more information on the church, a welcome message from our pastor, a sample sermon, and video clips from various Peace events. Worship will continue with members and friends giving their Tithes and Offerings.

The choir then offers up more praise through Song as the congregation prepares their hearts for the Word. The Sermons are life application, biblically based teachings that are oftentimes illustrated through impromptu demonstrations and skits. Pastor Barnette can have you laughing, crying, and repenting all in the span of 30 minutes.

At the end of the Sermon, the congregation will be asked to make a Decision for Salvation for those who want to give their lives to Christ, Rededication for those who want to recommit their lives to Christ, and/or Affiliation for those who want to join the family of Peace. The service will conclude with the Benediction, the final blessing.

Sunday Teen Worship (The Loft): 9:00 am, 11:15 am

The teen service at Peace is a high energy, age appropriate, casual service. The teens are very active in the service leading Praise and Worship, serving as ushers and greeters, sharing the Announcements, and Recognizing Visitors and birthdays by singing the infamous Happy Birthday song. The teens are very active in organizing, creating, and performing Skits, Human Videos, and Songs that help illustrate the message that comes forth.

Pastor Jeff prepares Sermons that addresses the issues that teens are facing and provides practical biblically based teachings on how to face the challenges of being a teen. There are times when the teens bring forth the message sharing a relevant testimony and Word.

Teens are very responsive to their own service and make a Decision for Salvation, Rededication, and/or Affiliation. There are many teens who decide to attend Peace without their parents being involved in Adult Worship.
