Planning on visiting Peace?

Peace is located on 1399 Austin Drive in Decatur, Georgia. On Sundays, Peace has three worship services at 7:30 a.m., 9:00 a.m., and 11:00 a.m. There are children services at all three services and teen service at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. On Wednesday, Bible Study begins at 7:00 p.m. for all ages.

Peace is known for its warm, inviting, casual atmosphere. It is typical for visitors to receive at least five friendly greetings before the sermon is preached. Members come to the church wearing what's comfortable, from suits to jeans and t-shirts. Our children and teens are typically very casual since their services are very high energy interactive programs. The worship services at Peace begin with praise and worship with the latest gospel praise songs. However, we will also occasionally go "old school" with foot stomping hymns. The sermons are life application, biblically based teachings that are oftentimes illustrated through impromptu demonstrations and skits. Pastor Barnette can have you laughing, crying, and repenting all in the span of 30 minutes.

As a first time visitor, please stop at the information kiosk in the church lobby to get directions to the children services or to receive answers to any questions you may have. First time visitors will receive a visitor's DVD that has more information on the church, a welcome message from our pastor, a sample sermon and video clips from various Peace events.
