Peace Baptist Church, in partnership with New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (NOBTS), offers a certificate program for church members and church leadership.
Those enrolled in the courses will be registered as students of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. The courses are accredited and only taught by Seminary-approved faculty and are graded on a pass/fail basis. Upon completion of the 8 classes in the Certification Program, students will be conferred a Ministry Certificate from the seminary. The certification programs currently being offered are the Biblical Ministry, Church Planning, and Biblical Teaching programs.
This course, Evangelism – PMUS1110, is designed to provide a study of the biblical basis of evangelism, church programs for evangelism, and personal witnessing. Course materials required: The Art of Personal Evangelism: Sharing Jesus in a Changing Culture by Will McRaney
When: Each class will meet weekly (Tuesday @ 7:00 PM) for 1hr 45mins during the 8 week quarter at Peace. The classes are pass/fail, and students must attend six of the seven weeks to get full credit. Each course will cost $100. Class Schedule 8/15/17 – 10/03/17

The Certificate Programs are
• Accredited – all of the courses offered through the Certificate Program are accredited by SACS and transferable to the Associate/Bachelor’s degree. Each course is 1 credit hour; 12-18 credit hours can be transferred to the Associate/Bachelor’s degree of Leavell College
• Available – This program is available to all persons regardless of educational background to receive on-going training in biblical, theological, and practical studies, enabling them to become more mature and more effective in Christian service.
• Affordable – There is $25 registration fee for each certificate. Each course costs $100.00- $115.00. Maximum cost for the complete certificate is $925.00
• Accessible – The classes are held on the campus of Peace Baptist Church
